LASER Dentistry & PBM Therapy
At Saroj Dental, we use advanced dental Laser technology and PBM (Photobiomodulation) to make many treatments more gentle, more precise, and more comfortable—with faster recovery for many patients.

LASER in RCT (Root Canal Treatment):
Laser can be used as an adjunct (support) in endodontics for:
Enhanced canal disinfection (especially complex canal anatomy, fins, accessory canals)
Retreatment cases (previous RCT with persistent infection)
Cases with strong bacterial load / foul discharge
Periapical infection support (as part of complete endodontic protocol)
Single-visit RCT planning (case-dependent)
Advantages (Patient-friendly + clinical benefits):
Deep disinfection support beyond what files alone can reach (as an adjunct)
Helps reduce bacterial contamination in canal space
Minimally invasive—no cutting in RCT, just light energy delivery
Often leads to less post-treatment discomfort (case dependent)
Can support cleaner working field and improved hygiene protocol
Helpful in complex canals, where mechanical instruments may not contact every surface
LASER in General Dentistry (Soft-tissue & Gum Procedures)
Gum reshaping / smile designing (gingival contouring)
Bleeding control in soft tissue procedures
Frenectomy (tongue-tie / lip-tie)
Ulcer care and discomfort reduction (selected cases)
Crown-lengthening support (case dependent)
Periodontal therapy support (selected gum infections)
Advantages:
Less bleeding during many soft tissue procedures
More precision with controlled tissue interaction
Reduced swelling and improved comfort (often)
Usually faster healing and less post-op discomfort
Can reduce need for sutures in selected cases
PBM (Photobiomodulation) in Dentistry:
“Healing Light Therapy” (Non-surgical, non-cutting)
PBM uses low-level laser/light to stimulate natural healing. It is non-thermal and focuses on pain relief + tissue repair.
Most common dental uses:
Post-extraction healing
Post RCT pain support
TMJ pain / muscle spasm
Mouth ulcers (aphthous ulcers)
Post-surgery swelling
Implant healing support
Advantages:
Helps with pain reduction and inflammation control
Supports faster tissue healing
Non-invasive, quick sessions
Safe when used with correct parameters
